As partner organizations at the Center for Nonprofits, nonprofit organizations will be able to save money on rent and utilities, allowing them to focus valuable resources on services for their clients.  In addition, with the Center becoming a community-gathering facility, many civic organizations have started moving their weekly meetings to the Center.  The Northwest Arkansas Community College holds their culinary classes on the campus and are available to cater meetings and in-house fundraising events.

The facility is on an Ozark Transit bus route, which allows local residents to access multiple services in a single, conveniently-located space.  There are several locations in the building where partners and the community can come for meeting space, special events and more.

In addition to the specific goals below, future plans call for the establishment of an in-house print shop and fundraising space.

Specific Goals:

  • To establish a regional facility that provides a dynamic and collaborative environment in which a minimum of 25 nonprofits can develop and deliver high-impact services;
  • To build and enhance the synergy between resident nonprofits through a dynamic yet cyclical community needs assessment and planning process;
  • To work in collaboration with other funders and nonprofits to develop and deliver capacity building and shared services, such as human resources, purchasing, accounting, and technology skills;
  • To reduce the number of nonprofit capital campaigns, eliminating at least five campaigns, and realizing a savings of a minimum of $20 million to local funders;
  • To create an environmentally and financially sustainable campus and encourage revitalization and economic development at the gateway to downtown Rogers.
