The Center for Nonprofits @ the JTL Shops (formerly Family Resource Center) has been serving the families of Northwest Arkansas and beyond since 1996 - marking 2011 as its 15th Anniversary. It was a dream of the late Bernice Young Jones to have a central location of agencies and services. Her wishes were for a building where agencies could all be housed together, with nominal charges for utilities and space use. Many of the agencies have called the Center home since the doors opened to the public in 1996. The Center currently houses approximately 40 nonprofit organizations, offering a variety of services to the public, in a single, conveniently-located facility.
